Military Leave
If you are on an approved military leave of absence that qualifies under the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA), participation in your health benefits may continue for the lesser of:
The 18-month period beginning on the date your military leave of absence began, or
The day after the date you fail to apply for a return to employment with an DallasNews Corporation company.
The company continues to share the cost of medical and dental coverage while you are on a military leave for up to one year. After one year of military leave, you may be able to continue your participation in medical and dental benefits through COBRA. More information is provided in
