Disability Leave

DallasNews Corporation provides short-term disability (STD) and long-term disability (LTD) coverage to keep a portion of your paycheck coming if you can’t work due to a serious illness or injury.

Also, short-term disability and paid time off work together to provide benefits more immediately. Details about these two plans are also posted in the left navigation.

Eligibility

DallasNews Corporation automatically provides STD coverage if you are a regular, full time employee. You also automatically receive LTD coverage if you are a regular, full time employee and you have completed 12 months of full-time service with DallasNews Corporation.
