Open Enrollment

Your next opportunity to enroll in or make changes to your benefits is Open Enrollment for the next year — unless you have had a status change (such as marriage or the birth of a child) or you are a newly eligible employee.

Have You Had a Status Change?

You can make changes to your benefits within 31 days of your status change event.

Are You a Newly Eligible Employee?

When enrolling, take time to consider your options. You have two choices for medical coverage, the CDHP and PPO, each with different tax-savings opportunities. The CDHP offers a Health Savings Account, and the PPO can be coupled with a regular health care flexible spending account.

When You Enroll

Be sure that you:
Confirm spouse eligibility if you want medical and/or dental coverage for your spouse. Spouses who are employed and have access to health care coverage through their employer are not eligible to be covered under our medical and dental plans.
Elect a contribution amount for the flexible spending accounts to participate.
Elect a contribution amount if you want to put money in your Health Savings Account (HSA), available with the CDHP/HSA medical option. If you qualify for a company contribution, you must confirm your eligibility for an HSA during the enrollment process. Any company HSA contribution amounts are based on your income and will be deposited quarterly.

Enroll by Your Deadline

If you don’t enroll by the deadline on your enrollment packet, you will receive the following company-provided coverage only:
Basic life
Basic business travel accident insurance
Employee Assistance Program (available to your family, too)
You will not receive medical, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, additional life insurance, accident insurance, group legal, auto and home insurance, or legal/identity theft coverage. You may be eligible for company-provided long-term disability coverage once you have completed 12 months of service
